PEAR, Roseceae ' Bartlett '

This is the standard summer pear of the fruit markets. Also, the Bartlett makes an excellent home variety, which generally sets without a pollinator. Bartletts, which are yellow in color or slightly blushed, are very sweet and tender.

APPLE, Roseceae ' Red Rome Beauty ' (Semi Dwarf)

Fruit is large, round, smooth and red. Flesh is greenish white and makes for outsanding baking. An early bearer with late blooms, which escapes frost. The big advantages of the "semi dwarf" are ease of harvest, pruning and use of space.
