Native from British Columbia inland to Montana, southward to Northern California and mainly grows near the ocean. The White Fir, one of the largest firs, can reach 300 ft. in the woods. Incense Cedars, also known as Red Cedars, grow to 90 ft. and have a reddish brown trunk. They give off a strong fragrance in warm weather. Also widely seen in the Yosemite National Park. |

Native to the Himalaya Mountains. This now U.S. staple evergreen, is a fast grower, growing to 80 ft, with a 40ft spread at the ground level. This tree, along with the 'atlantica' and 'libani,' is a true cedar. Lower branches sweep downward and then upward. The nodding tip is an identifier at the top. Deodar Cedars make a beautiful, graceful landscape tree. |
